"Holbeach Range Day"
International SO event

This event has finished

An important skill that attack aircraft (rotary and fixed-wing) must train for is the use of munitions against ground targets.

Working with a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) allows for a safe employment of munitions against a threat.

For this event you will be based out of RAF Marham (EGYM) and route to Holbeach Air Weapons Range (AWR). Practicing the correct phraseology you will receive communications from a JTAC on the ground who will use: Check ins, Game Plans, and 9 Liners to coordinate an attack on a static target. Once you are out of playtime, you can return to RAF Marham (EGYM).

Fighter aircraft slots are available for all and ATC positions for those members part of the United Kingdom and Ireland Division (XU) or have a GCA.
