"Need Transport Air Bridge LEZG LERT"
International SO event

This event has finished

SO Airlift shuttle operations will be conducted between Zaragoza Air Base (LEZG) and Rota Naval Base (LERT), simulating a coordinated military airlift mission under realistic operational conditions. The event will feature round-trip flights using military and military-configured transport aircraft, operating under IFR procedures in accordance with Special Operations (SO) standards.
The objective of the operation is to recreate a strategic and tactical air bridge for the transport of personnel, equipment, and logistical support between a major mainland air base and a key naval installation. Aircraft such as the Airbus A310, Boeing 737, Boeing 767, and Airbus A330 MRTT will be used, reflecting real-world airlift capabilities employed by modern air forces. These platforms provide a balance between medium and heavy transport capacity, allowing for varied traffic flows and realistic ATC workload management.
All flights will operate as GAT (General Air Traffic), using published SIDs, en-route airways, and ATC-assigned STARs or radar vectors. Military corridors and restricted area access routes will not be used during this event. Departures and arrivals will be coordinated through ATC units to ensure safe separation, procedural accuracy, and smooth sequencing of traffic, Military ATC will be available on request.
This SO Airlift event is designed to promote realism, coordination, and professionalism among pilots and controllers, offering an immersive and structured military transport experience within the IVAO network.
